Victoria Veterinary Hospital is a full service small animal hospital, ready to assist in most types of medical, prevention, dental, and surgical needs for your cat or dog. For the best medical care, we prefer to schedule time with you and your pet on a regular or annual basis. However, we are also able to tend to pet emergencies; we just ask that you call ahead so we may be prepared. We want to be there for you and your pet!

Owner & Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Jessica graduated in 2011 from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine, with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Prior to her creation of Victoria Veterinary Hospital in 2019, she worked as solo veterinarian at the France Avenue Pet Hospital in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Dr. Jessica is well-versed in all aspects of small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. Her passion, energy, and enthusiasm show each day through her positive attitude and tireless ability to find solutions for each individual pet and their health needs. Dr. Jessica enjoys serving clients’ pets throughout each stage of their lives and through diverse medical conditions. She is a skilled surgeon and emergency medical professional.
Outside of work, Dr. Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and two Miniature Schnauzers, Roco and Totti. Having been an amateur boxer for seven years and an avid runner, you’ll find that she can keep up with just about anything that comes her way! Dr. Jessica is a part of the Victoria community and she looks forward to being there for you and your pets for many years to come.
Certified Veterinary Technician
Colleen earned a Bachelor of Arts from St. Catherine University before pursuing her passion to become a veterinary technician. She earned her A.A.S in Veterinary Technology from Argosy University in the spring of 2009. She joined Victoria Veterinary Care in November 2018 with 4 years of Technician Assistant experience. She enjoys helping in the exam rooms. She is also particularly interested in parasitology and urinalysis as well as patient care.
In Colleen’s spare time she loves going to the family cabin and spending time with her Mom. Colleen currently resides in Chaska with her two Basenjis, Teagan and Baysa, along with her sister and her two small dogs.
Front Desk & Veterinary Assistant
MaryJo comes to Victoria Veterinary Hospital with 20 years of Customer Service experience. Her previous position, working as a Receptionist at a skilled nursing facility, highlights her empathy and ability to connect with clients– which now includes people or pets! As a child, MaryJo could often be found exploring her family’s acres of woods in Northern Minnesota with her dog. Today she lives in Waconia with her husband and their dog, Sheba. In her spare time she likes to work in her flower gardens and go for walks.
Front Desk & Veterinary Assistant
Shannon holds a B.A. in Business Management with a focus on hospitality from the Minnesota School of Business. Her people-centric experience prior to joining VVH is extensive, with seven years in hospitality and three years as a skilled Veterinary Receptionist. Fun fact: her identical twin sister is her roommate! Shannon hails from Mound and absolutely loves pets. Her menagerie of animals includes 2 dogs: Mabel is a Husky mix and Otis is a Mastiff & Pitbull mix. Shannon also has 7 cats, a chinchilla named Marble, and two rabbits– Holland Lop, Poppy, and Lionhead, Belle.
Social Media Manager
Noelle, Social Media Manager for the clinic, has a B.A. in Mass Communication from the University of St. Thomas. She loves getting to know people and their pets while photographing the adorable animal clients that are the heart of the VVH family! Noelle lives in Victoria with her husband, two youngest kids, and three busy dogs; Bingley (Smooth Fox Terrier), Finnegan (Chihuahua/Terrier mix), and Max (Miniature Dachshund). When she is not at the clinic you can find her being creative taking photos, making pottery, weaving blankets on her loom, or baking for friends and family.
Veterinary Technician
Brittnay is a 2015 graduate of Ridgewater’s Veterinary Technician program where she acquired some fascinating educational experiences and studied unusual animals on a study abroad program in the Australian Bush. Her passion for animals can be seen in her own “amazing band of misfits” which includes one dog and six cats. Outside of her work with pets, Brittnay enjoys reading, writing, crafting, gardening, fishing, and finding new adventures with her husband.
Veterinary Assistant
Eden joined the front office staff at Victoria Veterinary Hospital in the summer of 2020 after completing her Masters of Music (M.M.) in Flute Performance. A dog whisperer at heart, she enjoys being a friendly face for both pets and their people when they come into the clinic. Eden is working toward a Ph.D. in Musicology and plans for a future position as a college professor during the academic year. She thinks that spending her college breaks at VVH is a great way to be involved with her favorite thing outside of music— pets!
Veterinary Assistant
Hannah joined Victoria Veterinary Hospital in the summer of 2020, assisting with pets and their people. A Pre-Medical student working toward her undergraduate degree during the academic year, Hannah is excited about the experience and knowledge she adds to her life at the clinic during college breaks. Amazing with both pets and kids, Hannah hopes her VVH experiences will help her to decide which type of medical field she loves the most— as she hopes one day to have a medical practice of her own!
Veterinary Assistant
Selena, a Pre-Veterinary undergraduate student, joined Victoria Veterinary Hospital in the summer of 2021 in order to gain practical, hands-on experience in the field. A natural with animals, Selena can be found in the clinic assisting with pet needs and is always there to help them feel more content during their stay. Her enthusiasm and positive, helpful attitude have been a great addition to the clinic during the summer months.
Veterinary Assistant & Medical Ordering Manager
Ayssa joined the VVH team after 8 years of work on a dairy farm near Glencoe. An all-around animal person, her pet companions include two white German Shepherds, Bella and Oakley, and a flock of chickens! Alyssa has many interests besides animals. She enjoys travel, boating, reading, and spending time with her family. Don’t be surprised if you run into her at the County Fair or find her checking out a new restaurant around town!
