For your convenience, here are answers to our most frequently asked questions. If you can’t find the answer you are looking for, please feel free to get in touch and we’ll be happy to answer any question you may have.
While cats & dogs make up the large majority of our patients, we do see pocket pets in a limited capacity (please call ahead). Unfortunately, we are not able to see lizards or other reptiles.
We are a full-service veterinary hospital, taking care of your pets from nose to tail and from birth to end of life. You can find a description of many of our veterinary services here on our Services page. If you have a question about a specific procedure that you do not see listed, please call our office.
The best method for making and managing appointments is with our PetDesk app. If you cannot download the app, please call or email us.
If you and your pet are new to Victoria Veterinary Hospital, please bring any pertinent medical history from your veterinarian, such as vaccine history, if possible.
If your pet is experiencing diarrhea, please bring a stool sample.
We make it easy by carrying most medicines in-house. You can also shop our online pharmacy. The online store offers the convenience of 24/7 shopping and delivery straight to your home; however, please note that all prescriptions and refills must be approved during business hours.
Please be aware that payment in full is required at the time of your visit. We accept CareCredit, MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Discover, checks and cash.
Our hospital is located at 2160 Arboretum Blvd in Victoria, MN. For directions, see Google Maps.
Our business hours from Monday through Friday from 8am-5:30pm. If you have an after-hours emergency, please contact BluePearl Pet Hospital.
While scheduled exams are best, we understand that accidents happen. We prioritize sick patients whenever possible. If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please call ahead so we may best prepare for your arrival.
For emergencies that occur after hours or during the weekend, we recommend BluePearl Pet Hospital and their 24/7 Emergency Service in Eden Prairie.
Making end-of-life decisions for your pet is one of the most difficult situations you face as a pet parent. We are here to help so you are not faced with that decision alone.
An honest assessment of your pet’s quality of life is a appropriate place to start. Do they have more good days than bad? Are they in pain and, if so, how manageable is it? Do they still enjoy their favorite toys, places, or food?
When the painful decision has been made, we will perform compassionate euthanasia at our hospital, with you by your pet’s side, if preferred.
Victoria Veterinary Hospital is not able to provide in-home euthanasia but can recommend MN Pets or Lap Of Love if that is of interest to you.
